This past month has been a good one learning to serve the people through His love and grace. God has been teaching me to trust him in all the situations even when times get difficult. This month it was wonderful to have three people from America come and help us minister to the kids and the students of the Bible College. It was wonderful ministering with them. We took them to minister to the kids in the slum. The kids in the slum were so excited to get to meet them and play games with them and learn more of God. They are such an amazing group of children full of joy. This month has been great spending time with them a lot and getting to know their hearts.

We had the opportunity to go visit a children’s home at a place out of Ranchi which is four hours or so to reach there. It was amazing meeting the Indian couple working there with those kids who need love and education. They are doing a great job and it was fun seeing how God is using his people to be a blessing to many. I was happy to see that the lady in charge was my senior in Bible College and I was happy to see her after many years. We got opportunity to talk about what the Lord is doing in both of our lives and ministry. It was such a blessed time.

We also had our first women’s seminar this month and it was based on the topic ‘word of God’. It was a good day of investing our time and resources to help them study the word of God in a better way. We had wonderful time of game, teaching, quiz and so much more. The women were happy to learn the history of the bible, bible study and so much more. I had the opportunity to lead worship for the first time in Hindi and that is by the grace of God. The Lord has been helping me grow more in faith and teaching me not to limit him to a box. He will use us in anyway and all we have to do is be ready.

This first month of this year I can tell has been so good and I am blessed to serve the Lord more faithfully this year. Even when times get hard I need to learn to lean on him and believe him for the impossible. God has been so faithful in my life and I am very grateful to him for his goodness. I enjoy working among the kids a lot and they are a great joy. The Sunday school has been going well too and I am happy to see the kids growing in the Lord and responding well at church. They enjoy coming to church and that’s a good sign. It has been going on good and I am happy for what God is doing in the lives of these children. My main focus has been to help them share the gospel to their friends and close ones. Working with children is amazing each day and i wouldn't trade this with anyone. They are so much joy.

Some of my prayer requests would be:

·       For God to help me as I start a new bible study group this coming month. For the youth girls to come and grow in fellowship and the word together.

·       For Gods strength in times when it gets hard and lonely at times. To fully depend on his grace every day.

·       For the kids to live for God each day and share the gospel to their friends and be a light wherever they go as that is what I have been asking God for the kids this year.

SEASON OF JOY

It has been a good month of trusting the Lord and depending on God in the good and bad. We had the opportunity to go house to house sharing the good news of Christmas and singing carols. We had a great time ministering in a school for their Christmas program in a place out of Ranchi which was a good experience .Our team from Ranchi performed a skit, dance and we taught them action songs and it was so fun. We got to spread the Christmas Love around. Some friends of mine and I got to conduct a small Christmas celebration with the kids at the slum and it was so fun. The kids are amazing and they are so responsive to the word of God. We had a great time with them.

This month had been a little challenging with exams and my health issues but even through it all God has been so good to me. Even when at times I felt discouraged he was there to encourage me and teach me to trust Him alone and believe that he is faithful. We have been practicing a lot for our Christmas day and the program went well by God’s grace. The Sunday school kids did an amazing job and this month I started teaching in the English Sunday school and it has been a great experience. I have been able to build a good relationship with them and they are learning fast and are eager to know Gods word more.

The Christmas day celebration was great and the new years as well. We had lots of people show up and it was good serving and ministering to the people. It was our first time having Christmas here with the people in Ranchi and it was fun. We got to do the traditional local dance that they do in every celebration at the end. I learned it and I love it. This year has been a great year of learning to build good relationship with the people and I love being a part of what the Lord is doing here in Ranchi. Many souls coming to the Lord, people hungry for his word and most of all the fellowship we have as the body of Christ here at Amazing life church. I am thankful to God for bringing me here and I rejoice in learning and growing as a church together. God has been so faithful to us and the last month of the year I can say God is good and he takes care of His children well.

Some of my prayer points would be:

·       For the 2^nd women’s seminar we are going to have on the 22^nd of this month that the Lord will minister to the women through our team who will be teaching on the importance of the word of God.

·       That the Lord will take me deeper into the next level of trusting and serving him faithfully and hearing his voice.

·       For the Sunday school teachers who are starting a new training for the kids to grow deeper in Gods word.

FATHER OF LOVE AND GRACE

It has been a great month of learning to walk with the Lord in faith.  It has been a busy one with also learning to depend on Him to help me make some wise decisions. The bible college is going on well and we have been taking the students for house visiting in the evenings and it has been good training them to minister and encourage the families too. Teaching has been fun and I enjoy it a lot. My friend from Pune had come as a guest speaker for two weeks and it was a blessing to have him here in Ranchi with us. We are now preparing hard for our Christmas season with carols and dance and so on and we are excited. The carols will be our church first time thing. We will be going every evening house to house as a group and singing carols.

We had the opportunity to take the Bible college students to the slums where I minister and they had a great time with the kids. The kids were so happy to have them sing and dance and share the word of God with them.  We also had the opportunity to take the kids to play at a nearby park just for fun and we had a great time and for many of them it was their first time in a park. The kids are so amazing. I enjoy working among them.My team and I conducted a small training for our church Sunday school teachers and it went out very well and we have started our Hindi Sunday school again and I am so happy. I have been praying for a good team and God has given me one.  I am grateful to him.

We had our first women’s house visiting in the English service also this month and it was good. We are praying to continue to minister in other women’s houses too to encourage the believers and families in the Hindi and English service as well. The Womens 

ministry has been going on so well and we had our 2^nd year anniversary celebration and it was so awesome. For the first time we had an all girls band lead in worship and through lots of prayer and practice we saw God move powerfully during the worship time. I too was in tears . I felt His presence so strong that words can’t describe .God is so amazing and he moves when we are ready for him to. The whole program went on so well. Thank you all for your prayers.

Altogether I can say that God has been so faithful in my life in the small to the biggest things. At times when I felt so low or down I felt his presence and His Love for me so overwhelming. I know that God is with me through all and he wants me to continue to serve him faithfully. I love and enjoy what I am doing. So thankful to God for this season.

* For wisdom as I also write my exams this month for the online course I am doing.

HIS GRACE LEADS

This past month has been amazing in the way the Lord is continuing to bless our church in each and every way. It has been a good experience so far in teaching in the new bible college we started. I have been teaching on the subject “survey of the old Testament” and it has been going well so far and I have been learning so much while teaching them. Teaching is something that I always loved doing from young and I enjoy it a lot. It is one of the talents the Lord gave me and especially teaching his word is even more exciting. We have 9 students so far and it has been wonderful ministering to them. Two of the students are from Andhra Pradesh and the other seven students are from Ranchi itself. I am really grateful for these new experiences and the way God is showing me that He is ready to use me in anyway as long as I am ready to listen to His words. It has been a good season so far and I praise God for his goodness and faithfulness in my life. He has been teaching me that He is a God of grace and He takes care of His beloved children well. As we are the staff of the college we have the role of being a good example to our students. They watch and learn so much from us.

I also took a short break from ministry and went to Bangalore for ten days. It was a good time of refreshment and spending time with my awesome family and friends. We have been also preparing for our 2^nd year Women’s anniversary which is going to take place on the 11^th of October and we are excited to see what the Lord is going to do. For the first time we have a great team of talented youth girls who are going to lead people into worship with all their talents and gifts. I am happy to see the unity among us and the desire to do our best as a team. I have grown to fall in love with this place every day and serving the kids, youths and Women has been a great joy though sometimes hardships and frustrations come my way God has helped me to realise His heart for his people. I feel that I am in the right place and God is continuing to use me in ways I never even thought of before.

The slum ministry is going on well and I am happy to get some youths now and then to help me serve these kids better. They kids are a true gem and close to my heart. They love us a lot and we do too. Life with them is always an adventure. We have a lot of fun teaching them and growing in deeper relationships with them.  I am blessed to see their attitude towards life and it encourages me. Altogether I would say it has been a month of growing in deeper levels of trusting God and growing close with people as well. It is so encouraging that God is using me to be an encouragement to many and help them in every way I can so they can grow closer to God. The focus of our church has been to keep encouraging the people to walk in the ways of the word of God and to continue to live out what they are taught. Every day we are trusting God for the impossible.

Some of my prayer points are:

·         Please pray for more of God's wisdom as I continue to teach His word to the students at the college.

·         Please pray for our Women’s ministry program that is going to take place that the Lord will use us to reach out to the women by his leading.

·         For financial needs to be met for the church and our Bible college as we are trusting the Lord to provide.

GOD IS ON THE MOVE

Our 50th annual convention.

It has been a great month with the Lord learning to depend on him completely. It has been a busy one as we had our 50^th anniversary celebration .It was a four day convention and we had a lot of speakers coming in to preach the word of God from all over India. We had a great time of Worship, dance, listening to the word and amazing session for the youths especially in the mornings. We had timely word for the youths from two of the experienced people with youths and an awesome time of ministry among them. We could feel the presence of the Lord during these four days of celebrating the goodness of the Lord in our Church. We had people come from all over Jharkhand and there were over 600-700 of them and it was amazing to see their response to the word of God and the way they were eager for his presence. This is an amazing year for us as we saw many miracles the Lord has done for us as a church. He fulfilled our every desire and every need. He has shown us the true meaning of believing with all our hearts even at times when we feel like doubting him. God has been so faithful to us and its because of Him we rejoice that everything went out well. From the first day to the last we could see that he was with us through it all.

I had to learn a lot during this month especially on overcoming frustrations and stress. I wouldn’t say it was easy working with a few amount of people for a larger crowd. We were shorthanded on help for the program days and though it had been so tiring we still learned to keep pressing forward whether people saw our efforts or not. Serving Him must always come from the heart and the Lord sees our hearts even at times when it seems so challenging and hard. We learned a lot working in a team and how this has led us to grow in bond with each other as well. As a church we could see the youths growing deeper in the Lord and with each other in fellowship. Lots of good too came out of this. The main key was to work together as a team and encourage each other to do their best and I am so happy to be a part of this amazing church. We can see the Love of Christ shown in the people towards one another. Personally I learned a lot from these four days particularly seeing the vibrancy of the people in worshipping the Lord and readiness to help one another always. The guest speakers who had come were also amazed to see the hardworking youths and the amazing unity in the church.  God is so good and we rejoice in His faithfulness.

From the time of the concert till today God is continuing to touch the people’s lives that are new to faith and are growing in the Lord. We are witnessing many non-believers just walking in and being touched by the Lord in amazing ways and it is great to see as most of them say it is because of God and secondly the love the people have for each other and the amazing fellowship they find here. Amazing life Church has over 200 youths and I have grown to love the way they have shown that it is not just about attending the service and going back but it is about building relationships with one another at a deeper level like a family does.

We have also been working hard to start the new Bible College we have been praying for. We have few students already and we are excited for this new journey of our church starting this college to equip people with deeper understanding of the word. We have an amazing team of teachers and we are going to be investing our lives into them and I am excited for this new step. This following week we will be starting our classes and we would require lot of prayers and the grace of God to also provide all our needs for this college. God has been faithful to us till today and we believe in Him. The name of our college is “Amazing Life Word Institute”. It is going to be great seeing what the Lord has in store for us as we continue building the kingdom of God.

·         For the Lord to lead us step by step as we are starting this Bible college to work as a team and be a good example to the students who come there.

·         For the financial needs for this college and more resources as well.

·         For God to continue leading us as a church towards the main goal of reaching out to the lost souls.

·         For my life to continue being a testimony to many and God to help me reach out to the youths who are hungry still for his word.

God of Wonders

Awesome time of worship and praise - Concert

It has been a great month with the Lord especially moving in amazing ways. When His people come together in His name and pray in faith God does something in the heavens.  One of the things the Lord has been teaching me is to believe Him with all our hearts when we pray for the impossible things and there is power in prayer. It took us two months of prayer and preparation for this big worship concert event called “Azadi” which means freedom in Hindi. We had around 3000- 4000 people attend it and we were amazed to see the hand of God through it all. He was with us from the start to the finish and we saw His amazing miracle once again. It has been raining the whole week and we were asking God for a miracle for it not to rain on that particular day that was the 2^nd of September. With lots of prayer and faith we asked the Lord to do it.

It did start to drizzle and immediately many started praying and the rain stopped. It rained everywhere except the ground we were in and that was amazing to see. God is so good and we proclaimed together that He is a miracle working God. The youths and volunteers and leaders all worked really hard to get this event going well. By God’s grace all went well and the response of the people was great. Many were touched by the Spirit of the Lord and we felt His presence so strong. He ministered to each one of us through the word and worship .We can totally say that it is through the constant prayers of people for this event that it went out well. Thank you all so much for your prayers.

The Lord has been so faithful to us this year as a church and we continue to put our trust in God who is greater than anything.  The slum ministry is going on well and Vilma and I have been focusing on helping them with their English subject as they all struggle in it a lot and their exams are approaching soon. They have been responding really well and I thank God for that. Though the number of kids is less sometimes due to circumstances the few that come are very faithful and I am grateful for it. The Lord is a good Father and I love Him more each day and He gives us what we need each day.

Some of my prayer requests is :

·         Please pray for our next big event that is our 50^th anniversary celebration through three days convention. Pray that God would lead us in the right direction. He has been so faithful to our church and believers and He will continue being the king of it all.

·         That god would help the people who attended the concert would go shine for Jesus wherever they go and not let the experience in Jesus go in vain.

For Gods wisdom in leading the people in the right way and for the sunday school curriculum that is still in progress to be prepared well and for good Godly teachers who love kids to come up and join me as we start a new season of sunday school in our church next month.

It has been a great month of Gods goodness and faithfulness in my life and ministry. God has been teaching me to believe with all my heart that He is able to do more than we ever ask Him for. We had our first time ever two days women’s seminar that was so amazing.  We had around 100 women attend it and it was a blessed time. We got such a good feedback from them and we praise God for that .Each one felt blessed and they all participated really well. It was my first time experience planning and running the whole thing with a help of amazing group of people and everyone looking up to me for guidance. The reason I say this is one of the main girl who used to be there leading with me has left so now the leadership role has increased to the next level and honestly speaking it has been overwhelming at times but it’s a joy too as God has been my greatest strength giver and I am grateful to Him for it and I am learning a lot. One of the lessons He has taught me is to handle the people we work with lots of patience and grace. To continue showing Gods love even when its hard.

It has been my joy ministering to the kids and women here as their response to us and God is encouraging to see. We can see their hunger for deeper truths of the word of God. Our theme was on ‘Prayer’ and we had a wonderful time of Word, skit game, group discussions and so much more. While my team and I had been preparing for this God began to show us more better and effective ways to minister to these Women here.  Thank you so much for your prayers it went out well by the grace of God .I had the opportunity to go to Bethel missions and minister to the kids there along with a friend. It was a good time teaching the kids about ‘Identity in Christ’ and we encouraged them through word and prayer. I also have been teaching Sunday school at another church each Sunday and I am encouraged to see the kids’ eagerness to learn the word of God and it is so fun teaching them.

The ministry in the slum is going on well and we are blessed to be a part of their lives ministering to them and spending time with them each week. Altogether I can say it has been a great month of Gods goodness and grace over my life. Presently I am working on forming a new Sunday school curriculum for our church kids to follow and the branch churches as well. Our goal is to finish it by the end of September and by October hopefully we would start our Sunday school. I need the Lords wisdom as I am preparing this Curriculum. We are also planning to host a Sunday school teachers program for the teachers of our church and other branch churches too in the month of October. Both these tasks have been handed over to me and I am praying for a good group of leaders to join me and help me out. I need Gods help more than anything and we are praying for good Sunday school teachers who are willing to reach the kids with the word of God efficiently .I am depending on the Lord completely to guide me in the right direction.

We have also been preparing for our upcoming concert on September 2^nd through lots of prayer and other things as well. We are expecting around 5000 young people to show up. We have been doing lots of advertisements and promotions for it. We are praying that God would minister to the people who come and the whole program would go well. By Gods grace we have around 115 volunteers for this event and we are excited and working hard towards this big event. We have been meeting every once a week and praying together as a team for this big day. God is going to do something big for us this year as a church and for the people of Ranchi.

Some of my prayer points would be:

·         For Gods wisdom in preparing and choosing the right Sunday school curriculum for the kids here as many of them knows very little from the word of God.

·         For the right teachers who want to really invest into the life of these children.

·        To depend on God fully and for the right people to lead with me.

·         That God would help the big concert that is happening on the 2^nd of September to go well and that the people would come with eager hearts to receive what God has for them.
